Things We Wish You Would Ask…
How do I get organized?
It’s not the client’s job to know how to do any of the organizing processes. You’re hiring the right ‘who’, as we are consultants and experts in home and project management. We have a system that is broken down into five steps.
Removing items from the area
Editing out what you don’t need
Sorting items into categories
Evaluating the space for the best placement of your contents, and we…
Think about what organizing supplies are required to maintain the space and make it functional for the long term.
RESET!
We’ll look to you to decide what stays or goes and offer guidance to make those decisions.
Who are your ideal clients?
Our clients are people that believe in investing in their lives. This is not just an organizing service, it’s a lifestyle enhancement. Our clients view this as an investment and not a cost. It’s like any improvement you would do to your home or your health. Our clients are typically high performers who don’t sweat the details and leave that to us. We are the consultants to improve their everyday productivity and household management.
Are there people that can’t get organized?
Everyone has the ability to learn to do anything, but it’s up to you to be open to change. The clients that get the best value out of our services hand the reins over to us and do not micromanage. Telling us how to do our job will only slow the process down and leave both parties frustrated. You don’t micromanage your doctor or lawyer, so give us that courtesy as professionals.
Will you make me get rid of things?
No! We never tell you what you have to eliminate, but we do offer guidance. If you want to keep everything and your space is limited, that will have an impact on the time spent trying to find solutions for a sustainable system.
How much does it cost to organize an entire home or one room?
Good question but an impossible to answer one. It’s difficult to predict the cost because it depends on the density of your contents, how quickly you make decisions, and your ability to take advice from a professional. It’s best to schedule an in-home consultation to better set expectations. We work as a team with a minimum of two organizers.
Do you purchase supplies?
Yes! We purchase what is reasonable to accomplish your goals with your approval. We do not mark up products and pass on our trade discount to you. The service we provide is the knowledge of what products work best for your space and contents.
Do you offer confidentiality?
Absolutely! We are bound by the NAPO (National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals) code of ethics. We will provide a link to that in our work agreement.
How do I start to work with you?
We will send you a questionnaire to better understand your needs. Once we receive it back, we can then do a quick phone consultation to discuss how to proceed forward.
